Graphic design for an exhibition in Croatian History Museum

El Shatt
Exhibition Design, Editorial client Croatian History Museum project Graphic design for an exhibition in Croatian History Museum year 2007

The exhibition El Shatt is about the exile of Croats in the Egyptian desert during World War II.  The graphic materials at the exhibition are printed on big canvasses held by ropes to clearly refer to the tents in which the refugees lived. In order to better present the uncomfortable living conditions in the Egyptian desert, the covers are made from emery paper, so even the reader’s first contact with the catalogue starts to tell the tale of exile and difficult living conditions.
